Our sofa finally arrived! It's pewter and sort of changes color depending on the lighting and angle you look at it. The kittens were very suspicious of it for the first day. Basil was actually frightened of it for a while. They seem quite happy with it now though. It's done to all the eco specifications (natural latex, wool, down in the cushions so no fire retardants, sustainable wood) but we just didn't really care for the eco options for the upholstery so that's not an organic or recycled material. But it's exactly what we had in mind. And it matches the little grey kittens very well! Unfortunately it has to live in the dining room for now until the office is finally able to move out of our living room.
