| The "purple" cupcakes, as requested multiple times by Maia. They were grey. I had no idea that so much natural dye would be necessary to turn them purple so I didn't allow for enough additional liquid and had to stop. I used blueberries and blackberries. The frosting however took the colors much better. Pink = blackberries, purple/pink = blueberries, green = spinach. Vanilla cupcakes with citrus cream cheese frosting (yep, same recipes as last year). The cupcakes turned out a little dense too. I think I need a different recipe. |
