tailess lemurMaia and I visited the zoo a few weeks ago with some Mama and baby friends. After a gloriously warm week, the day we visited was shockingly cold. Maia LOVED the lemurs - even when they were curled up sleeping under their heat lamps. They must have looked like cats to her and she loves her cats. She and her buddy Oszkar were so excited by the petting zoo they sounded like they were hyperventilating. She missed the prairie dogs because she was napping so I promised to show her real ones in the wild when we went to Boulder but sadly the multiple snow storms prevented that from happening. She got excited by the Meerkats and pointed at them (first time she pointed at anything).
