First trip to emergency room

Yesterday Maia had her first trip to the emergency room. For a dislocated elbow. This happened once before when she was holding Todd's hand and tried to pull away. Todd moved it around a bit and then it got better. This time it lasted for a few hours so we decided to take her in. Can't wait to see how much that costs. We don't really know how she did it but think it was when she closed her fingers in the door hinge while pulling a door shut and then probably jerked her hand out while still pulling the door. We thought she'd just hurt her fingers but eventually noticed she wasn't using or moving her right arm. It didn't seem to be causing her much pain, except for when Todd tried to move it. She even managed to nap - although she stayed on her back. Took the Dr. a couple seconds to pop it back in. Hope it doesn't happen again, but it happens easily, especially once it's already been dislocated. We need to learn the technique for popping it back in.
