Maia walks up to me and says "Mommy, where is my backpack?" It's on her back. So I say "It's on your back. Did you forget you are wearing it?" and she thinks about it a second and says "Yes. I did." Very deliberately/matter of factly. She's been answering us like that a lot lately. We always believe her when she speaks like that.
This afternoon we are playing "taking baby to visit baby's daddy in daddy's office". We ride Muni and "ecsalators". And we stop frequently to wait for Muni and see what's in our backpacks and feed the baby snacks and milk. The baby that is going to visit daddy is named Ezra or Ezra Jack or Stellaluna. And she mostly refers to it as "he".
A few weeks ago after drinking her morning milky we were lounging in bed and she suddenly said "milky so yummy". Yeah, it's going to be difficult to wean her.
The other day Maia informed me she had two boogers and she wanted to give one to (swim) teacher Kelley. Weird. And gross.
