We had a full and fun day. Started the morning with a fairly short 20 minute wait to buy treats at Tartine. Then walked over to the playground at Dolores Park around 9:30 while it was still reasonably uncrowded. Stayed for an hour or so until the crowds and heat started to bother us (yes, heat. that playground generates heat like crazy!). Then we walked over the hill to the Noe Valley farmers' market. Then we walked back to the Dolores Park vicinity where we left our car. Home for nap, followed by swim lesson, a bit of shopping at Sports Basement, dinner sitting on the kitchen floor (because this is where we eat while we have no dining room due to the painting activities) and then bed, just a bit late. Maia's first self-designed outfit of the day was something I totally would have chosen for her. It's second incarnation, probably not.

Actually got her head stuck and was yelling about it. Didn't think to pull it back out herself.

Mmmm, morning bun.

She was smiling a ton during this activity. Don't feel like the photos caught it that well.

And the final outfit of the day. The going to swim lesson outfit had the skirt at the waist, rather than hoisted up.

Love the new pictures!
Wow! I am so impressed with the way she has taken to the swimming pool and lessons.
Love the perspectives - the slide looks huge and the "up" shot is a definate keeper for me :)
