We just watched Mowzle as he paced about on the mantle and lower shelf, pondering higher heights, when suddenly he leapt not to the usual shelf but to the top shelf, a feat we had yet to see before tonight. Except of course the time he did it on the other side but then he had the open door to help him. There was a slight slip as he reached the top so not perfectly gracefully executed but he made it. Then we sat and waited to see how he was going to get down. Second photo is Basil watching his brother. And then the removal. We really didn't trust him to do it without causing some sort of damage to either himself or where ever he chose to land. Please excuse the poor quality of the photos.
