Another wound from Maia

Last night while she was getting crazy and not going to sleep, she slammed her head into my cheekbone and now I have a bruise. Still have a bruise where she bit me too.

It's getting difficult to remember all the words she's saying now. Today blueberry sounded more like buoy. Yogurt now sounds more like Yee - oh - ee. She was practicing her cousins names yesterday, at my prompting. She was practicing the z sound because we've been reading There's a Wocket in my Pocket quite a bit and there are many words that begin with z so she was trying out her z skills.

* Zoe = Zooo-eee

* Zane = something rather long with a z at the beginning and always sounds a bit different

* Siri = Seee-reee roughly

* Terran = really just something indecipherable with a t sound at the beginning

* Pia = baby. despite the fact that quite some time ago she said Pia's name a number of times, she will not say it now. And every time we asked her to say Pia she said baby. Every time.
