Maia has shown some interest in her little striped baby in the past month or so but the interest comes and goes. She's been talking about babies the past few weeks - pointing them out in pictures and when she sees them out and about and of course referring to her own babies (stuffed animals mostly). Today she definitely passed into the land currently inhabited by Siri and Zoe - she started by taking many of her babies off the shelf one by one, announcing that it was a baby and then lying them in a row on her bed. And later, she asked for a couple of her diapers that snap and then she asked me to put one on the little striped baby and one on Simba and then she carried them about talking about her baby. She even tried to take them to bed with her until they proved too distracting.
Maia pronounces baby as beebee.
